Just remove the outer shield, customized with the SRF logo, and it's ready to go. Temperature readings are fast - just 3 to 4 seconds. This unit features a 180 degree auto-rotating display so it's easy to read at any angle. It is accurate to ±0.9°F (±0.5°C). The unit can be set to °C or °F.
