Snake River Farms Kurobuta baby back ribs are succulent, juicy and tender. Our Kurobuta baby back ribs are smaller than conventional baby back ribs but are juicy and bursting with pork flavor. These ribs 100% purebred Berkshire pork, known as Kurobuta (which translates to “black hog”) in Japan, it is considered the culinary equivalent of Wagyu beef and is highly regarded for its internal marbling and deep pink color.
Order at least one rack per person and keep in mind it's rare to have a guest complain about having too many ribs. Average weight: 1 pound per rack.
The membrane found on the bone side of all pork ribs is not removed. Kurobuta (Berkshire) ribs are smaller in size than conventional pork, and we do not recommend them for competitions.
